Ostara, also known as spring equinox, is a time of renewal and rebirth. It marks the beginning of the agricultural season and is a great time to plant seeds and do any spring cleaning. Ostara is often associated with the hare, which is a symbol of fertility. My favourite part of spring is the blossoming of fresh lilacs. Lilac is a symbol of wisdom, psychic ability and spiritual development, while ylang ylang is used for peace and relaxation. At the bottom of your candle you will find a rose quartz, which can be used in your craft for self-love, compassion, friendship, and harmony.

On the first light, light your candle with a match and keep candle burning until a full melt pool develops (approximately 1 hour). When you are finished enjoying your candle extinguish the flame. For every burn after the first, trim the wick by pinching the end to remove any excess blackened bits. Keep the wick trimmed to approximately 1/4".

Why light with matches? Us witches like to keep things as natural as possible so lighting your candle with matches is the way to go; especially if you are doing spell work.

Please recycle - When there is 1/2" wax remaining blow out the candle. Once the wax has had time to cool take a paper towel and remove any remaining wax and the wick clip. Remove any labels and soak the jar in soapy water. Scrub the jar clean and reuse as your heart desires.

Fantastic!
These might be my new favorite candles. I absolutely love the sound of that wooden wick. They smell lovely but are not too strong and they have a very long burn time. And love the tiny little candle I was given. Perfect for a travel alter.
