Imbolc marks the beginning of spring and means in the belly of the mother. It's a time to celebrate the divine feminine and fertility. Pagans have been known to light candles during this season to honour the deity Brigid, who is associated with fertility, healing, protection & poetry. Jasmine flower aids in manifesting abundance & love, while lemon in associated with longevity & friendship. Neroli has a fresh and light flowery scent that makes any day feel like spring. At the bottom of your candle you will find an amethyst, which helps promote renewal and rebirth.

On the first light, light your candle with a match and keep candle burning until a full melt pool develops (approximately 1 hour). When you are finished enjoying your candle extinguish the flame. For every burn after the first, trim the wick by pinching the end to remove any excess blackened bits. Keep the wick trimmed to approximately 1/4".

Why light with matches? Us witches like to keep things as natural as possible so lighting your candle with matches is the way to go; especially if you are doing spell work.

Please recycle - When there is 1/2" wax remaining blow out the candle. Once the wax has had time to cool take a paper towel and remove any remaining wax and the wick clip. Remove any labels and soak the jar in soapy water. Scrub the jar clean and reuse as your heart desires.
